About Us
The Story Behind The Name
House of Manjula began quietly at home, with fabric, patience, and years of practiced skill. For Manjula, creating has always been a part of everyday life, shaped over time through painting, crochet, and working with textiles. What started around 2021 as a small, homegrown practice, making pieces for joy and close circles, slowly grew into something more intentional, eventually becoming House of Manjula in 2024. At its core is a simple belief: to create things that are useful, make them well, and never rush the process. Each piece is handcrafted in small batches, inspired by Indian textile traditions, with a focus on everyday essentials that feel thoughtful and practical. Beyond the products, the brand is built on care, working closely with artisans, creating opportunities, and making mindful choices wherever possible. What you receive is not just a product, but something made with time, intention, and quiet attention to detail.
